This is a scan of a photocopy of a manual for subLOGIC's A2-3D1 routines for drawing 3D graphics on an Apple II (or, to a certain extent, other 6502-based machines). The software was distributed either as a cassette or a disk, with a typewritten label "SUBLOGIC 6502/APPLE II 3D GRAPHICS". The manual refers to the "Load-and-Go" documentation, which is not included here. But this manual contains enough to be able to use the program. Someday there may be a better scan. For... At Penguicon 5.0 in 2007, Greg Barker shows how to use Blender to make 3D graphics. Ever wonder how companies like Pixar and DreamWorks create all those cool, computer-generated movies? Using Blender, the free, open-source, cross-platform, 3D modeling and animation program, You'll get a taste of what it takes to create such works, as well as how to get started using Blender itself. The first video is a 3D graphics movie contaning three different sound design examples, which was made based on sound propagation and soundfield microphone simulations. The proposed methodology was presented in the 4th National conference on Acoustics of the Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (www.helina.gr) in 2008 (C. Dimoulas, G. Kalliris and G. Papanikolaou). The 3D-graphics examples were created with the valuable help of Maria Parianou. Cross-delay (/Doppler) effects are considered in the... Here is the long overdue part 2 of the simple Doctor Who 3D Tardis. A few weeks ago I was watching the old Doctor Who series with some friends. It was my first time watching it and I starting laughing the moment I saw the 3D Tardis in the old show. I pointed to the tv and said, "That looks like the silly one I made for my site!" Everyone thought it was funny...because it did. So there. Now you know how talented I am in this subject. My 3D models look like something from the 80's. :-)... Part 3 of the 3D Doctor Who Tardis is here! I realize this 3 part series is much less detailed than my painting tutorials. I don't plan to continue making such brief "tutorials." I just wanted to give an inside look into the 3D modeling process. If anything, you'll gain an appreciation for all of the amazing 3D models you see in movies.
